BMO Pass · Wallet cards for business
Digital business cards for the next introduction
BMO Pass business cards put your business details in a format people can keep on their phone. They serve a different purpose from loyalty: helping someone find you again after an introduction, meeting or event.
Give the introduction a useful destination
Choose the details a new contact actually needs: your business name, contact information and the website you want them to visit. A clear destination is more useful than asking one card to carry every service, promotion and social channel.
For a team at an event, agree which company page visitors should reach and what they should do next. A QR link can make that destination easier to open. Test the destination before printing materials so that an old campaign or broken link does not become someone’s first impression.
A saved card is different from a loyalty account
A business card keeps contact details available. It does not need to collect stamps or track class attendance to be useful. If the purpose is repeat-purchase rewards, a stamp or points card is the relevant option instead.
Use consistent business details across your website, card and printed material. That helps people recognise the same company wherever they meet you. Supported wallet cards can receive updates, with available fields and notification behaviour depending on the card type and wallet.
QR sharing now, NFC availability to be confirmed
QR sharing lets a compatible phone open a link with its camera. NFC sharing is coming soon; hardware, plan availability and pricing will be confirmed before launch. Do not plan an event around an unconfirmed NFC feature.
Business cards are included with Pro and Enterprise, together with bespoke card design and your own staff-app branding. Share your website or brand kit during setup so the design reflects the business people already know.
Check the experience before an event
Open the destination link on a phone and confirm that visitors can find the intended next step. Check your email address and telephone details character by character. If several colleagues will use cards, agree how their names and roles should appear.
For printed QR materials, try a scan at the actual print size and from a comfortable distance. Include a readable website address beside the code so people have another way to find you. Keep the event destination available after the event finishes.
